Norse Hill, located in the prestigious San San Estates, just minutes outside of Port Antonio, is a magnificent, panoramic, hilltop residence built in the early 60's by a Norwegian shipping magnate as an escape to comfort, tranquility and spacious living. The result is luxurious living, unspoilt natural beauty and serenity at its best in the most beautiful part of Jamaica.

The main house is characterized by its large bedrooms, soaring ceilings, Cut Stone walls, balconies with exotic grill work, a spiral staircase with a mini fish pond beneath. The unique combination of Oriental and Norwegian décor put Norse Hill in a class by itself sitting amidst its own lush 8 acre rain forest. Each of the 4 air conditioned bedrooms has en-suite bathrooms with dressing rooms and private balconies that offer breathtaking views of the stunning gardens, the majestic mountains and the Caribbean Sea.

The dining and large living room open unto the 36 foot swimming pool and patio amidst beautiful gardens of colourful hibiscus, allamandas, red and yellow ixoras, plumbagos, poinsianas, adjoining the sprawling, manicured lawn which overlook the ocean. The pool is 5 feet at the deep end and 3 feet at the shallow end making it ideal for children and adults to relax and play in the water. Fencing is optional around the pool area for those parents who may have small wandering, energetic children.

Watch the colourful hummingbirds as they come to feed in the nearby gardens. See the spectacular Jade Plant in bloom. Have a massage, do Yoga, or sip sunset cocktails under the "Tree of Life." The paths eventually lead to a scenic meadow and turtle pond - ideal for a picnic lunch.
